Akshay Kumar is all set to appear on Aap Ki Adalat, where he’ll be opening up about his life with some fun stories. Host Rajat Sharma shared a sneak peek on Instagram, showing Akshay talking about his school days and also his wife, author Twinkle Khanna.
Jokes about stealing watches
In the video, Akshay said, “When I failed in seventh standard…” and the audience gasped. He asked why did they react that way about it. Rajat also teased Akshay, saying that when, on a set, a person shakes hands with the actor, they need to count their finger rings and be careful with their watch.The actor joked he could try the trick on Rajat too, claiming he could take anyone’s watch off. When Rajat asked if he’d try it with Twinkle Khanna’s watch, Akshay laughed and said, “Main agar woh koshish karunga, woh meri zindagi nikaal legi” — meaning, “If I try that, she’ll take my life.”
Childhood dreams and fan fun
He further shared that when his father once asked about his life goals, he confidently said he wanted to become an actor. He also had a fun moment with a fan, lifting her in his arms and twirling her around. The promo was captioned, “Secrets of Film Star Akshay Kumar’s life revealed in Aap Ki Adalat. Did Akshay hate studying? Did he always dream of being a hero? Was he supported by his family? And does he really steal watches?”Akshay married Twinkle in January 2001. They share two children–son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
Jolly LLB 3
On the work front, Akshay is currently seen in Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 3 alongside Arshad Warsi. The film’s story focuses on struggling farmers whose land is being taken away by a corrupt businessman, played by Gajraj Rao. The film also features Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas in key roles. Jolly LLB 3 released in theatres on Friday.
