Celebrities across varied regional film industried flocked to the capital to receive the honors, including Hindi cinema superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has received one of the top awards at the ceremony for the Atlee directed 2023 film, ‘Jawan.’ With his first National Award, he has finally achieved a long-awaited milestone.

Shah Rukh Khan marked his debut with ‘Deewana’ in 1992. Even after over three decades in the Hindi film industry, the actor is still ruling the roost. This year is special for him, as the actor was announced as the recipient of the National Film Award in the Best Actor in a Leading Role category for the movie ‘Jawan’. This marked a historic moment in his illustrious career spanning over thirty years.
For the occasion, the actor wore an all-black ethnic attire, looking absolutely dapper. With a slick back hairstyle and sunnies framing his face, SRK completed his look with black shoes. The audience cheered as soon as SRK was called on stage to receive the honor. The actor was all smiles as he posed with honorable President Draupadi Murmu as he received the accolade.King Khan’s performance in the Atlee-directed film garnered appreciation from fans and critics alike. Meanwhile, the film also starred Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara in pivotal roles. It was released in theaters on September 7, 2023.

Apart from this, he is currently working on his next film titled ‘King’, co-starring Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Arshad Warsi. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film has been scheduled to release in 2026.
