Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ was one of the most anticipated projects of the year. Emraan Hashmi cameo becomes the biggest highlight
Among all the cameos, the one that fans loved the most was by Emraan Hashmi. In the show, he appears as an intimacy coach for Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya) and Karishma Talvar (played by Sahher Bambba).Raghav Juyal’s character Parvez is a huge Emraan Hashmi fan. When Parvez finally meets his favourite star he starts singing the iconic song ‘Kaho Na Kaho’ from ‘Murder’ including the Arabic lines. But while Raghav’s Parvez has taken the internet by storm, he wasn’t actually the first to do this tribute.
Kiara Advani ‘s video resurfaces on social media
Amid all the buzz around ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, an old clip of Kiara Advani has suddenly gone viral. In it, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actress can be seen singing the Arabic verses of ‘Kaho Na Kaho’.The video drew instant comparisons with Raghav Juyal’s hilarious tribute from the show. Netizens were quick to point out that before Parvez became everyone’s favourite, Kiara had already done her own version of paying homage to Emraan.
Raghav Juyal’s experience on working with Emraan Hashmi
In an interview with News18, Raghav Juyal spoke about the overwhelming love he received for the scene. He said, “The response was overwhelming. I expected it, and so did Aryan. I worked hard on myself and created something new. I had a lot of fun. Emraan sir came, and the scene was shot, and I even started crying during the scene! And it became such a scene, I did it with all my heart. If I had tried to do comedy, it would have been awkward, but I shed tears from my heart and sang the song. I specifically sang the Arabic version, thinking it would be funny.”
