The eighth week run of Ashwin Kumar’s mythological animation film Mahavatar Narimsha has turned into a fascinating showcase of endurance. The film which is all set to start its journey on OTT and end its theatrical run minted Rs 1.15 crore at the box office. The film decided to end its run on a high note. With this performance the film went past Mohit Suri, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara’s 8th week collection where it had collected Rs 16 lakh. Looking at Mahavatar Narimsha’s 8th week collection, the film earned Rs 70 lakh from Hindi version , Rs 19 lakh from Kannada version, Rs 21 lakh from Telugu version and Rs 5 lakh from Tamil version. With this the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 250.29 crore. With the collection the film also became the 2nd highest 8th week collection of the year, the first spot being held by Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava which had collected Rs 4.1 crore. The highest grossing film in its 8th week is Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2, it collected Rs 4.55 crore . While other major money spinners in 8th week were Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 which earned Rs 2.85 crore while Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 wasn’t far behind with Rs 2.8 crore. Shah Rukh’s films are also not far behind , Pathaan earned Rs 1.88 crore while Jawan had collected Rs 50 lakh. Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor had also stayed in theaters till the 8th week and it collected Rs 56 lakh in it’s run.
