He still has her unwashed clothes and sleeps with them, recalling the comforting scent that reminds him of her. “I brush my teeth with her toothbrush, I sleep on her pillow. I have her T-shirts and shorts, which I keep nearby. Her parcels kept coming for two-three days after she left, from Amazon, Flipkart,” he shared. He added that he never washed her laundry, keeping it wrapped around his T-shirt or blanket. “I sleep with it every day. I can’t wear it because it’s too small, but it keeps her close,” Parag said.

The day she passed

Parag recounted the day of Shefali’s death, recalling a sense that something was wrong. She had asked him to take their dog, Simba, for a walk because their housekeeper’s son was tired. On returning, Parag found Shefali unconscious and struggling to breathe. He attempted to revive her with electrolyte water and CPR, but she had already passed. “She breathed twice, but she had completely given up; I could not wake her up,” he recalled.

Addressing rumors

Parag also addressed circulating claims that Shefali’s death was linked to anti-aging drugs. He dismissed these, stating that she never used drugs in a harmful way, only took regular multivitamins, and occasionally received vitamins via an IV drip.
