Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG’ crossed USD 4 million mark by the end of day 2 in North America
Pawan Kalyan’s film They Call Him OG recorded the year’s biggest North American premiere. It collected 3.13 million USD on its first day. Total North American collections reached over 4 million USD. In India, the film earned 21 crore rupees on premiere day. Its two day total stands at 104 crore rupees.

Pawan Kalyan has struck the North American box office with a thunderbolt with his latest release They Call Him OG. The film directed by Sujeeth and also featuring Emraan Hashmi has scripted history at the box office by taking the biggest premiere day collection of the year in North America with USD 3.13 million collection. The leaderboard was headlined by Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie which had opened to USD 3.04million collection- the highest for any Tamil film till date. The response to the film is in stark contrast to his last film Hari Hara Veer Mallu which had folded up in North America with just a little over USD 1 million collection.And the thunderous response to the film has continued on Day 1 as well as the film has earned over USD 540K, taking the day 1 total to USD 3.67 million. And the response to day 2 has also been nothing short of magical as till early evening the collection has crossed USD 435K with final numbers coming in only after a few hours. With the current available numbers, the film’s overall collection has gone beyond the USD 4 million mark. In India the response to the film is spectacular, the film took the biggest premiere day collection in the country of Rs 21 crore. On its first day the film collected Rs 63.75 crore and on second day it dropped down to Rs 19.25 crore, taking the two day total to Rs 104 crore. The film is expected to pick today onwards and is expected to cross Rs 150 crore mark over the weekend.
